So in this crazy time of ours, one of the things that should be obvious to us as we look at it is that complacency is out. If you used to live in such a way where you thought I can just

specialize, I can just focus on my own dental practice or my own job at the hardware store or my own software,

you know I'm a software engineer and I can just focus on that.

I can worry about getting to my family to church on the weekend and devote myself to my

profession and growing in my profession and I can just trust the rest of the world to do their

job. I can trust the police to do the job. I can trust the

governor to do his job. I can trust the mayor to do his job. I can trust the evangelical

leaders speaking at big conferences to do their job, I can expect everything to stay put and I don't have to think about that stuff.

All I have to do is go to church, be told to have the sermon tell me to be good, don't cheat, and then I can go back to my work and life is simple, right?
