Each of us has a story. Each of us has a story that we are writing both for our own lives,

0:10.6

an internal narrative of who we are, what we hope to become, all the things that we hope to do,

0:15.4

as well as an external story of how people see us and how our lives intersect with others.

0:20.4

And over time, we are constantly filling out this story, this narrative. It's almost like a

0:25.3

journal that unfolds a page after page and you have the choice, you have the ability to write

0:29.9

whatever you want on today's page, whatever you want for yourself, whatever you want in terms of

0:34.9

how your life intersects with others. And one of the reasons I make this podcast is because

0:39.6

I believe so much as possible. I believe there is a side hustle opportunity for everyone.

0:45.3

And I've seen over and over how that can lead to so much more. It's not just about one little

0:50.3

project that makes some money or something. It's what does that enable you to do? How does that open

0:54.4

your eyes to see, oh, there is so much more possibility than I thought before. And so I really encourage

0:59.2

you today, as we begin this episode and this story, which I'll tell you about in a moment,

1:02.8

I just encourage you to think, what is the story that I am creating today? And what changes do I

1:08.1

want to make? Because you're not just the writer, you're also the editor of your story. So if you

1:12.6

want to go back and change something, not only is that okay, not only do you have permission to do

1:16.3

that, it actually might be one of the smartest things you could ever do. Because oftentimes our

1:20.8

story writing is kind of on like an autopilot. And if we step in and say, actually I want to have

1:25.2

more control over this direction, it can lead us being happier, it can lead to us being more fulfilled,

1:30.1

more productive and just more intentional overall. So that's my encouragement to you as we begin

1:34.9

today's episode. Welcome to Side hustle School. My name is Chris Killabo. And today's story,

1:39.2

a Disney super fan goes from writing about the happiest place on earth. At least that's what they

1:44.1

call it. Disney is really good at marketing. She goes from writing about that in just her notebook,
