Hey everybody, this is Junior. Just leaving the Martinsville race after Jimmy Johnson got a win that punched his ticket to Homestead, going for seven in Homestead.

I know he's pretty excited about this opportunity. He's been talking about it for a couple years.

Being able to tie my father and Richard Petty and championships is something that he's always dreamed about ever since he got within a few titles of those guys.

So I'll be in Homestead cheering him on when our teammates do great. It's great for the whole company. All those folks surely work hard enough to deserve it.

Had a lot of fun at the racetrack. Obviously we were in the booth for a little bit and that's always a good time.

Jeff Burton and Steve and Rick Allen always make it really easy to be in there. They really help you understand what's happening and what's going on.

And they kind of help you into these situations to feel comfortable to talk.

And they do a great job assisting you along the process. So I appreciate everybody's positive feedback on the last couple of weeks of being in the booth.

But I got to give those guys most of credit because they certainly know what they're doing up there.

And I'm good pals with them. So it's just like hanging out with your buddies.

Anyways, I didn't get a Martinsville hot dog so I was a little sad about that.

And Jeff and those guys did a great job. Had a fast car all weekend. I doubt it's Jeff Gordon's last race.

You probably have to come out of retirement to race at Martinsville to ever race under the lights there in the next couple of years.

You know, he'd love to try that.

But he did a great job for Greg Ives and the whole crew.

And when they needed a guy to come in there and get the job done, he was there.
