Summary

Here are the 7 steps to decluttering your bedroom at any age.

1. Pick up all trash

2. Collect all food, dishes and dirty laundry.

3. Scan the room and fill a bag of any easily donateable items.

4. Go through ALL your clothes. Try on all your pants and tops.

5. Look at the items on your floor (including furniture) and make decisions about what can go.

6. Go through the books in your bedroom.

7. Stand and look at each wall of your room.

0:41.3	So wherever you live, you are part of this podcast. So wherever you live you are part of this challenge. Now what I
0:45.4	told you about the decluttering madness challenge is that the goal is to get as
0:50.2	much out of the house in 31 days as humanly possible.
0:56.8	There are three options for any of the things that move out of your bedroom this week.
1:01.6	Number one, it can just be trash like you can fill up a
1:04.5	trash bag take it to your trash can put it in there boom that counts as a bag. Number
1:09.8	two it could be donatable we are in the. There are going to be a lot of clothes
1:14.4	and books and toys donated this week. Bag those up, put them right into the
1:20.0	adult's cars and drive those to the donation center. Or number three, you may have
1:26.2	decided that you as a family are going to take things to the consignment
1:30.4	store or possibly have a garage sale at the end of the month.
1:34.4	If you are, hopefully you've decided where you're going to locate those items that are going
1:38.7	to be sold before March 31st. For the item to count as being decluttered it has to be sold and gone.
