| 0:00.0 | Yo, today's QOD is, you're not specific enough. |
| 0:05.0 | Here we go. |
| 0:31.0 | Welcome back to the quote of the day show. I'm your hope, Sean Crox and a Sean Crox and |
| 0:35.6 | .com. We got Mel Robbins back on the show and today she's going to help a couple of audience |
| 0:41.0 | members get beyond their symptoms of self doubt. And today those symptoms are going to be |
| 0:46.9 | hyper criticism as well as helplessness. Now there's something that I really want us to tune into |
| 0:53.4 | in this particular episode, which is specificity, specificity when it comes to setting your goals. |
| 0:59.7 | Remember, you have that intention center in your brain, that GPS navigation center, which will |
| 1:05.7 | subconsciously guide you to where you want to go. But if your goal is not specific, then your |

| 1:43.1 | something like that, right? And I'm going, I don't know what that means. Nord is anybody else. |
| 1:50.6 | So sometimes we try to get real like, I don't know, Fou Fouie and in deep with our language, |
| 1:56.7 | when we talk about who we want to help, but really it's about simplicity and specificity. |
| 2:01.9 | And the example that I like to give is a restaurant here in Arizona. And it's called |
| 2:09.6 | Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers. Like when you drive by that restaurant or you hear the name of that |
| 2:15.4 | restaurant, you know they serve cold beers and cheeseburgers. They don't get fluffy with their |
| 2:21.1 | language at all. They're very clear, very specific. And the place is always packed because of the |
| 2:27.2 | specificity. And so be specific with your goals, be specific with your messaging and your |
