Amazing. We've had an amazing week. So happy to be here. It's been a good week or two on Mormon Stories podcast

I'm not gonna lie and Cara you and Harado have both been a big part of it.

I gave Harado the MVP trophy last night though. He's been a killer part of the team. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

We broke all Mormon Stories record. During Brad Wilcox week on Mormon Stories we broke all records like by in order of magnitude.

So I don't want to say thank you Brad Wilcox. But anyway, we are so excited for today's episode. Listen to me dear listeners.

Pay attention. Believe me now or believe me later. We have a really cool couple.

So just as an intro think Lee and Cody Young. Think Donna show Walter. You know they're these epic Mormon Stories interviews that come along with you know individuals or couples where they're long they're intense but these people are thoughtful and they're funny and they're touching and heartfelt.

I think that is what we're in for today and what makes it maybe a tiny bit different is that this is a couple that kind of is in the younger millennial.

You know kind of late Gen Z early millennial kind of age group. And so that's kind of a dynamic that maybe we haven't had as much of but but similar to Jordan McKay.

We have today on Mormon Stories podcast for one of those regular just sort of faith crisis journeys for a couple within Mormonism we have Lizzie and Spencer being hey guys.

Hello hi John hi Cara. Like a biting my tongue over here with all the fun commentary Brad Wilcox week is that going to be a national holiday now.

It should be but you know we sometimes we had complaints is like John and Carol you do now you interview like social media influencers and we are not with this couple I have no idea if they do anything online or what they do they probably do but I that's not small me.

That's not why we're bringing them on like this is just a cool Mormon couple that has a legitimate compelling Mormon story and so we're going to do it in three parts we're going to interview Lizzie for part one kind of tell her pre marriage Mormon story she's a convert to the church from Palmyra area parents are converts from the Palmyra area but then she eventually comes to Utah and has her does the Mormon thing.

It's going to be fascinating them for part two we're going to do Spencer story again Mormon story thoughtful Swedish connections some Hans Matt's and connections lots of cool stuff there and then part three will be their their marriage and their eventual kind of faith journey as a married couple and then where they end up today.

Any other teasers before I kind of begin that you guys think I should have I have to admit like my brain went to that very more many phrase of like well we all are converted at some point you know even though I was born in a church but no I can't say.

Anything else is very kind introduction no pressure well it's going to be great care do you want to have anything before we start I just met them today.

I'm going to have a little bit for a minute there's there's our little foreshadowing.

What was that was a major influence on my personality a little bit of you hopefully this will be something that you'll cry you'll have a better understanding of all things around the Mormon experience so this is an episode for never Mormon's Mormons
