I'll be doing the hangout from mom and dads,

and maybe we'll get a special appearance from the birthday girl

who is doing great two months after a horrific car accident that had her in the ICU with 15

broken ribs for a week in the ICU and then another two weeks in the hospital it was almost

three weeks i believe it. It was rough.

It was a real hard time for the family.

But Mom has made an amazing recovery,

and so many listeners and friends of mine from this show have reached out.

And I'm very, very grateful.

I mean, that's what I've learned.

Gratitude each and every day is what gets me through the day, no matter how hard things get, and they get very challenging, very difficult for each one of us, lots of suffering all the time. That's life. So in those moments, in these moments that we are dealing with right now, it's my North Star, the gratitude, writing in a

gratitude journal, just thinking about and being grateful for all of the amazing things that I have

in my life right now, including this breath and this time with you.

And our hangouts.

I get very excited to be at the hangouts, to host them, to hear from people, to get

folks' perspective, to connect, to laugh, to share. It's always such a wonderful time. And often we

are there for almost three hours because nobody wants to leave. There's 50, 60, 70 people that

join us on Thursday nights. Please stop by tonight at 8 p.m. Because I am very grateful for those gatherings as well.
