Summary

With the holidays quickly approaching, we want to bring you an episode that we hope will help you to stay sane during this busy time! As you know, we are both moms of three kids each, and this is our 7th year of having children during the holidays. Needless to say, we have learned so much throughout our own journeys and we’re here to share the tips and tricks for what to do, as well as what not to do, during the holiday season.

A lot of what we talk about today will not only help you this year in the moments of overwhelm you might experience, but we want it to make future holidays easier for you, more streamlined, and to give you the space that you need so that you can actually be present and enjoy the time with your loved ones!

We love hearing where you are when you listen to our podcast! Are you on a walk, on a break, or listening somewhere else? Tag us over on Instagram, @herselfpodcast and let us know, and if you found this episode helpful in planning for the holidays, we would be so grateful if you shared it with others!

we have learned so much throughout our own journeys. We did not show up on Christmas number one

with all of these tips and tricks, but we've learned over the years, and we're adaptable.

Like if we are uncomfortable in a situation, or we know we need something else,

Abby and I are the type of women that are going to make a change so that we feel as best we can.

So we thought that we would share things that could help you in the moment this year. We know

that a lot of you probably already have your plans set. So we're going to give you strategies

for in the moments of overwhelm or in the moments that you're feeling like you need a break.

1:51.4

But then we're also at the end of the episode going to talk about strategies for next year,

1:57.7

because what we've learned is some of this is avoidable. It doesn't mean it's easy,

but there are changes that you can make to just set your family up for better success. So we'll

2:09.7

talk about those at the end of the episode. So let's start by talking about our real-time

strategies. Now number one, and I know I've shared this before, is that I give myself full
