Can we talk about something else?

Hello.

Out there. out there In life, we get damaged along the way.

Angered, saddened, marked up by things we didn't ask for.

The trick is to toughen up without getting heavy, to stay light, because you will take

hits.

There is no avoiding the dents from the garbage that people will throw your way, but what

you can avoid is keeping it, storing away every bag that gets tossed at you. That's how you end up

dragging through life. Bitter, aching and reeking from the trip. Even a garbage truck gets emptied,

washed out, reset. But some of us just keep driving, belching fumes, leaking garbage juice all over the road,

blaming the people who put too many bags out, even though we were the ones who stopped,

picked them up, and decided to keep them. At some point, you got to go to the dump,

find a new route, one with less garbage on it,

or better yet, stop picking it up altogether.

Run it over if you have to.

Yeah, it'll make a mess, but at least it ends up behind you.

And once you stop stopping, you start to pick up speed, unless, of course, you keep parking at the same house.

After driving around the same neighborhood, all day, every day.
