| 1:28.5 | Your weekly dose of retro gaming and technology news with me Dan Wood. And me Ravi Abbott. And you know we've been getting that into the show recently. We completely missed our third anniversary last week. This is absolutely crazy. We've been doing this for three years, man. I can't believe it. 1-5-5 episodes. It's mental. And we're going to be doing a few changes around here. Just a little fresh lick of paint. So I've been slaving away on the website, and we're going to be getting some new kind of intros and incidental music and stuff like that. Exciting stuff. But, I mean, the thing about doing the show for three years is the amount of, the vast amount of people that we've talked to on this show. | 1:50.3 | before the rise of the internet. |
| 1:51.9 | That was the only place that you could find out what was happening in the world of games |
| 1:55.6 | and computers and technology. |
| 1:57.7 | Yeah, and also I found that they were quite cheeky. |
| 2:00.2 | They had their own kind of different vibe. Each magazine did, their own style, and technology. Yeah, and also I found that they were quite cheeky. They had their own kind of different vibe. Each magazine did, their own style, and everybody had their own favourites, didn't they? Throughout the whole period, from like the 8-bit to even nowadays, there's still some magazines going. And cover discs, how amazing were they? Oh, God, cover discs. We even moved on to cover CDs, didn't we? |
| 2:17.6 | Even cover computers with the magpie. |
| 2:20.2 | Yeah, I forgot about that. |
