0:12.5	The holiday season is a busy time for everyone, but it's also a special time to spend with family and friends. So how do we make sure that we are
0:22.4	prioritizing our time in making the most of this festive season? In this episode, we are sharing
0:28.7	10 tips that will help you stay focused and enjoy the time that you have. But first,
0:34.5	we have a TSA from April. April says, I'm a veteran sped teacher. This year, I transitioned
0:41.8	from Crosscat to an autism program. I love it, but I'm struggling to keep up with my data
0:47.4	tracking during the day. I've always struggled with this, but it's more critical now that I
0:52.3	can show progress. Confession, I have a pile of post-its
0:56.0	that I'll be sorting through to plug into my blanket data sheets while watching football this
1:00.7	Sunday. So April, I feel like this one is very similar to one of the previous episodes that we
1:07.3	had shared about, but I think it's, again, all about the system that you have in place.
1:12.4	Like, what is it that you're doing right now that isn't really working for you? And we oftentimes
1:17.2	talk about, like, you have to find the root to the problem. So is the problem that you don't have
1:22.9	the time? Is the problem that the system isn't really working for you. So what is your root problem? And when you can
1:30.6	identify that root problem, then you're going to be able to start to find ways to solve it. And so a lot of
1:36.9	the things that I will do for my data tracking is that I will have my students take part of it.
1:42.0	And we will often talk about delegating things onto your students.
1:45.7	And one of the things that I love to do with my kids is allow them to see their data. Because when
1:50.4	they can see where they are as learners, then they're going to see how much they want to grow.
1:54.9	And some of them are really, really competitive with themselves. And they really enjoy tracking
1:59.3	their own data. So how can you in some ways take off
2:03.1	this responsibility from you and put it on to your students so that, one, they can grow in ownership,
