Because there are basically two reactions on the difficulties which we have.

We may become very negative.

We may become very bitter because of all difficult experience.

We may accumulate all this pain and sufferings which we underwent.

And because of this bitterness, we will feel as a victim.

This victim mentality is the mentality which basically ruins the whole world.

Because when we feel that we're a victim, we develop also some revengeful

feelings toward others, toward our perpetrators, and we want to revenge and to get back to

them. And when the bitter feelings are accumulated within us,

it ultimately manifests as hatred, as envy, as anger.

So sometimes we see old people who live difficult life,

and everyone's life is difficult.

There is not a single person in this earth who will say that my life was so easy and so
