Yeah, it's almost a tradition or something. It's a trope.

It's a tradition. It's beyond a trope. It is a trope, but like there's something more.

What do you mean? What's beyond a trope? I don't know. That's what I'm saying. It doesn feel like a trope it seems like a like a

a part a storytelling device device mechanism something the idea of a

final girl is that they survive to be the ultimate hero going up against the villain.

So we're going to be talking about two of the biggest final girls in the game.

And then Scream Queens are traditionally just actresses who have been in a bunch of horror movies.

So sometimes a final girl can be played by a scream queen. I think we're going to see that here tonight.

But to be a scream queen, you don't necessarily have to be a final girl.

Sometimes a scream queen can be a villain.

Yeah, they just kind of pop up in a lot of horror movies and slashes in particular.

Yeah, you ever noticed that one of your favorite actresses is in a ton of horror movies?

That's a scream queen.

Yeah, totally.

And so I feel like each of these things, final girls and scream queens, they're somewhat exalted.

They're exalted positions in the horror genre.

Not everybody can be a final girl, not everybody can be a scream queen.

And so we will celebrate some of each.
