Hi everybody, this is Joe Lampel, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe Gardner

Show.

Well, it's been an interesting late winter and spring so far, a lot more gardeners coming

on board, and a lot of experienced gardeners who are becoming more active with their gardening,

expanding their gardens, adding more plants to their garden, whatever, it's just been

amazing from my vantage point across all the social media platforms and through the

courses and the emails and so forth, how many more people are buying plants?

And that has really become apparent for my daughter and me as we have been selling

our tomato and pepper seedlings that we start from seed every year, and normally we do

that at the farmer's market, and so you have that kind of that steady flow of business

throughout the Saturdays that you're there.

But over the last few weekends with everybody being at home and having this new perspective

over taking more control over our food and the food that we grow, and just connecting

with nature again, people are buying plants like crazy, but my point is I've had a chance

to talk to many of those people about the fact that they're brand new gardeners.

They've never even had a garden before, and they're asking me what to do, how to plan

it, etc.

So it's been very enlightening from that standpoint, but that leads me to what I wanted to talk
