Today's guest, Dr. Mary Party is a wealth of knowledge and I'm really

excited to talk to her because in all like 150 episodes or so I have never had a

guest come on and talk about blood work and what tests you should take and what tests are for what things and I have so many of you that ask on a daily basis about blood work in different tests and so I am so excited to bring a doctor on to answer all of these

questions for you guys so thank you so much Dr. Pardy for being here.

Thank you for having me, Carlin. I'm really excited. This is one of my favorite things to talk about too I love

getting like geeky with the blood work so we can go go into it.

Oh good well before we get into the blood work will you just tell my listeners a little bit about yourself, your background, and why you got involved in the medical world?

Yeah, so I am a naturopathic medical doctor. My background is in research so I went into research right after I graduated pre-med and I was in giziology research for the government looking at performance enhancing effects for war fighters.

So I was working for the Army on the East Coast

for a little while.

And that was really the trajectory I was heading down

where I wanted to go into research, and I loved science
