Today I'm going to talk with you about Paul's Thorn in the Flesh in 2 Corinthians 12.

After he asks the Lord three times, you remember,

the Lord said, My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

God's Word is not a book of theories.

It is a very practical living word that we can apply.

It's real and it's living and we feed on it and we find nourishment there and strength.

It's a wonderful book and I mean wonderful in the technical sense of the word, full of wonder.

So I thought I'd talk about how we can apply this passage ourselves in our own lives today.

So let's look at the Lord's response to Paul when he asked him three times to take away this Thorn in the flesh.

He said, My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

So here's the application for us, the really immediate application.

Do you have a Thorn?

Is it a trouble to you? Have you asked the Lord multiple times to take it from you?

Oh, I have good news for you. He has a better plan.

His grace, his free, powerful grace, is better for you than your healing or your deliverance, depending on what the Thorn is.

And why? Because he says his strength is made perfect in your weakness.

His strength, your weakness.

So think about it. Do you have some weakness? Well, then this is for you.

Gather up all your weaknesses and bring them to Christ.

Weakness is what he specializes in. His strength and imagine how strong that is.
