Hello ladies and gentlemen welcome to another episode of Luke's English

podcast in this one I'm just going to try and improvise a story to you right so I've

done this kind of thing before. There was an episode a while ago called

The Pink Gorilla episode where I just tried to make up a story off the top of my head

and see if I could sort of make it long and weird and crazy

and a bit stupid and maybe funny and I thought oh I wonder how this is going to go down

maybe my listeners are not going to really get this. They might not understand, they might not see the value in listening to it for their English.

But I posted it anyway and that actually has become one of the most popular episodes and I often

get messages from people saying do another one of those stories and so that's what I'm going to do this is not the

sequel to the pink gorilla story this is a different story this one's called

the talking dog it's based's based on an old joke, but usually the joke lasts about one minute.

I'm going to see if I can make it last for something in the region of 30 minutes but we'll see. I don't

really know where I'm going to go with this story. I've got a basic structure in

my head. I don't know where exactly it's going to go. So I'm just going to start

telling the story and I'm going to make it up as I go along. Your task for this episode is just to listen and just to try and follow, try and keep up with the story,

just try and understand it all.
