When it comes to our route to the Trojan War, we are on the slowest of boats across the

Aegean. I mean, because it requires a lot of background, but with all the other stories

from Greek mythology weaving in and out, partially because it's a massive undertaking in its own right.

We've covered the backgrounds of Achilles and Paris, and we've seen the spark that led to the war,

after the contest of the Golden Apple and the abduction of Helen by Paris.

So today, let's start by looking at some of the major characters in their origin stories.

Characters like Odysseus, Helen, Agmemnon, Menelaus, Pelope, Cladimnestra, and a few others.

In a few weeks, we will finally arrive at the famous war, and by then, we'll know who everyone is,

and hit the ground running.
