We're going to talk about the Baku European Games.

Of course there was some controversy going into the games, having to do with the construction. Some people were killed,

human rights violations. They already kind of don't have a free press and then some very

prominent reporters were jailed when they were looking into the president's

financial dealings and in general all the same stuff that went on when China

hosted or Russia hosted all the same kind of stuff.

So that's the backdrop going into this.

The very first time this has ever been hosted and pretty much happened because

Azerbaijan had ponied up the cash.

Some interesting tidbits, Stepco, as you remember Oleg Stepco who went to Azerbaijan from Ukraine.

Ukraine of course is a country where the team doesn't even have a full floor and they're in the

middle of a conflict right now.
