Self-confidence isn't magic.

Jordan wasn't making game-winning shots when he was a baby.

He didn't do that.

Just like Jordan, your confidence and my confidence are directly related to how much and how well we practice and we demonstrate mastery of something.

And this is important, demonstrating it to ourselves.

You can also call me coach, and this is a show all about real estate investing,

financial independence, and doing more of what matters. Today's topic is how to build

unshakable confidence as a real estate investor. Confidence is so important. You can have all the

information, the knowledge in your head, you can listen to the podcast. You can even take

the course. But if you get there to apply what you learn and you lack the confidence, it's really

hard to succeed and get the outcome you want. So I want to talk about confidence today.

And I'm going to do it in the context of us as real estate investors, as people trying to

achieve financial independence. But it really

applies to anything in your life, your job, your role as a parent, which is always on my mind these

days with two kids and losing confidence sometimes in those situations. And I'm going to use a lot of

sports metaphors. I played football. I love basketball, played soccer in my life. Sports at their

best are a good metaphor for how we can live our life.

And I think you'll find I'm going to pull from some examples like Michael Jordan,

one of my favorite basketball players of all time,

and show you how they demonstrated some practices that led to more confidence

and how we can use that as a real estate investor as well.
