Greetings, people, loved by God. Well, our previous study wrapped up Psalm 118. It seemed to carry us to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday as the command rang out to open up the gates, but we thought

also of how Jesus enter Jerusalem to be the gate through which we may come home to

the Heavenly Father. And only those who enter by Him are righteous or justified. The psalmist then

thanked the Lord for answering his cry and becoming his salvation. How did he become our salvation?

By being the stone that the builders rejected.

Jesus was explicit in identifying himself that way, and the Apostle stressed it too.

So we are called to rejoice on Good Friday.
