Magazines and also the series editor of Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy.

His self-published post-apocalyptic novel Wool became a runaway bestseller on Amazon.com, and he also

sold the film rights to Ridley Scott, director of Blade Runner and Alien.

Together with John, he co-edited the Apocalypse Triptych of post-apocalyptic anthologies.
