My guest today is Tony Blauer. Tony is a self-defense expert and the creator of the SPEAR system which stands for Spontaneous Protection Enabling Accelerated Response.  I know that's a mouthful but what he's been able to learn, develop, and teach is how to harness the body's natural defense mechanisms to respond to a threat of violence effectively.  He's been training special forces and LEOs since the 80's and is one of the only experts who has successfully affected training across all the combat-related communities: self-defense, combat sports and the military & law enforcement sector.  Today, you're going to hear the passion in his voice as he talks with us about stepping into the role of protector for ourselves, our families, and our communities.
