On my way to the train station to go meet Ellison Dave in a pub on Ellison's sister's birthday.

And I have to say this walk is up a steep hill which I would usually do two or three times a week,

but I'm afraid this is the first time I've done it in a few months.

And despite numerous four to eight minute runs, I am finding a bit of a struggle, especially in this cold.

Oh, but the sun's just come out. Oh my God.

And bathed me in various greens from the woodland.

Oh, of course the woodland known to many as nature's air conditioning.

But in this climate of unseasable cold, it unfortunately doesn't function as nature's heating system.

That is provided by, I'm going to say, greenhouse gases, methane, fire, compost, mulch, brackets, general.

I'm going to have to say with a somewhat mournful tear in my eye,

because what an important part of my hashtag mental health in lockdown.

These podcasts have been and very humbling and delightful to hear that the same is true of some of you too.

Here I am at the station. The train's pulling in to take me to Black Friars.

But I've got to go to the pub for the first time in over a year. John Nordout will talk about pubs revealing them send in a gleeid or something.

And then I would imagine we'll get a fairly lengthy monologue from him about grief. Dave and I, we're just going to have a drink.
