longtime friend Renee Matvea. Renee and I have not chatted in a long time.

Life has just been busy. But this woman is amazing. She was a state champion in high school.

She was an NCAA champion in college. She was a USATF champion as a pro multiple times.

And she's a woman that gets after it. She's been beating injury after injury

in the last six years. She's finding her spark again after life threw her for some loops.

She owns her own rehab and prehab business in Bend, Oregon. And now she qualified for her

fifth Olympic trials, just off of six weeks of marathon-specific training.
