Summary

The Light of the Creator is the source of all blessings and a model of the selfless energy with which we can aspire to give. But how do we tune into this kind of generosity so we can give without hesitation or restraint? In this episode of Spiritually Hungry, we discuss the importance of whole-hearted generosity.

“Not only do I have a choice about which part of me I will live my life directed towards—the altruistic or selfish part of me—how I view the world, how I interact with people, and how I try to uplift people is very much my responsibility, as well.” – Michael Berg

I think in these times it's an important question.

1:17.1

And I'm not sure if we all think about this a lot, but we definitely live our lives based

1:22.2

on some assumptions about the answer to this question, but I'm not sure that many of us

1:25.5

have actually taken the time to think through this question. And that is, are people generally good or generally bad? Or put

1:34.8

otherwise, do people behave selfishly most of the time, or do people behave with generosity

most of the time? Which I think is a very interesting question.
