My darlings welcome back to Ghost of a Podcast. This week I have a question from Sick of Man's

Blaining, and she says, Hi Jessica, thanks for your podcasts, a safe place to reflect,

explore, and pause. Here's my question. Can we use astrology to improve the corporate

environment one is currently working in, and if so, how? In detail, I am lucky enough

to have found a position with a permanent contract in my field of work and with a significant

salary increase given the current economic conditions I feel so blessed. However, my field

of work is in IT, and it's still men-dominated. My employer is a very traditional public

sector guy. As a woman in her 40s, coming from a national linguistic minority, I keep

facing white, older male co-workers from the national linguistic majority, who mansplain,

patronize, and use my input as their own. Any advice on how to stand up with grace,

think RBG, or AOC? That's the fight mode. Now the flight mode, going freelance and doing

consultancy work, is an option on the back burner for better times, although I'm sure

you experience mansplaining as a consultant too. Shout out to all the minorities out there
