Is it possible to recover from a traumatic brain injury?
Many of you know I suffered from several traumatic brain injuries when I was younger. Over the years, I’ve discovered strategies and tactics that have helped me recover. Healing a TBI requires a science-based approach to ensure you’re supporting your brain’s natural healing process.
This is a topic that is very near to my heart. Before we go on, I want to emphasize that I am not a doctor and this is not intended to diagnose or treat any kind of medical condition—aways talk to your healthcare provider.
While individual recovery varies depending on so many different things, there are some general practices that will help you heal and recover. Listen in as I go over some tips that are grounded in neuroscience and aim to optimize your brain health, neuroplasticity, and cognitive function and performance.
