Holy crap. What a weekend of basketball. We have so much stuff to get through. I don't know how we're going to get through all of it, but I guess the only way to do it is to start. And let's begin with the game that just concluded in Los Angeles and it was the

conclusion of a pretty rough weekend in, well so-called Stable Center for the Houston Rockets.

Sure, and we could start with their stats.

The Rockets are six and five on the season, five and two since the last 15 and 60,

then we'll talk about some of that.

They are six in net rating at a

plus six which is phenomenal. Offensive rating, 17 from the league, defensive

rating, third in the league, and we're using ESPN's BPI now for our stats there. They're still very

skeptical. Rockets 36 wins, 11 seed, playoff odds 11 percent. And actually, so I, as people people know listen last week I've been pulling the

stats that are getting closer to stabilized using Christian Arsu's chart of

when you get to an R squared of 0.5 so it's basically like you can kind of

you can explain that if you really want to. Well the one thing I'll note on this that

is like as you're listening to these that's really interesting the ones that

are stabilizing around now are some big. So that is your own offensive rating, your own net rating, and your winning percentage.

So that doesn't mean, you know, there's still like, know a lot a lot that can change but roughly half of you know like that's that's generally what R squared is pretty much at our square to point five is like kind of half of half of it is in is a way of thinking about it right?

Yeah essentially that half of what it will be at the end of the season is explained by

what has already occurred and the other half is basically random chance for a version of the

pace and now since we haven't done those kinds of steings for the Western Conference I want to do that and I thought this was one of the biggest

storylines of this game. The Houston Rockets have the slowest offensive time to shot in the

NBA including dead last off a defensive rebound and they played very well.
