All right, it's been a while since we've had a chance to do the 15 and 60 and hopefully we can

get through all the teams, but that may not be possible because I know both of us did a ton

of research for this episode, but let's get right to it. Without further ado, we're going to go in

order of the Western Conference standings and who is first in the West standing.

Well, Nate, I'll give you a choice. There's a tie between Denver and Memphis, but I guess Denver's

on top of my sheet, so I guess we'll go with them. Let's do it. And what are the fundamentals for

the first place, Denver? DENVER, 26 and 13 on the season, 10 and 3 since the last 15 and 60.

They are sixth in net rating at a plus 3.6 points, part of possessions. That's the cleaning

and the glass version of the stat, which filters out garbage time. They're first and offense.

24th in defense. We've talked about that in a few recent episodes. And generally speaking,

the 538 models are optimistic on Denver. They're projected to finish second in the West in both the

Raptor and Elo versions of it. 54 wins on Raptor. 52 wins on Elo and it looks abundantly likely

like the Denver nuggets are going to make the playoffs. In our last episode that we did, we were

recording as this game was going on. The nuggets. I don't know if there's even a graphic enough

verb to describe what they did to the LA Clippers in the first 15 minutes of the game after which

they led 50 to 23. Paul George and Kauai Leonard didn't even play in the second half. That's how

bad this was. It was basically a 30 point plot the entire way after that. And it really occurred

without Nikola Yokochem to do hardly any scoring at all. He certainly contributed to the playmaking.

It wasn't so awful. The nuggets were only up 20 to 13, 8 minutes into the game. And then they just

went on a ridiculous heater against the Clippers. I mean, the biggest thing that stuck out to me was

just that the Clippers couldn't score. And I didn't think that their the nuggets defense was like

so unbelievable against the Clippers. It wasn't like you felt like the Clippers like couldn't get
