Usually about eight minutes or so per team, but we have much to discuss here, and we shall begin in South Florida, where the

Miami Heat lost today to the L.A. Lakers completely invalidating everything that I'm going to say

about them. They are now three and three. They've had a couple of points, including ironically,

over the Memphis Grizzlies, who have been a bit of a lot wins, including ironically, over the Memphis

Grizzlies, who have been a bit of amused for Eric

Spolstra and his staff, because they are not doing any

pick and rolls. They are even lower in terms of pick and

rolls and using screens than the Memphis Grizzlies

were a season ago. And when I thought, I was like, oh, it does kind of sound like Memphis.

And it did come out.

Timbant Hemp's reported on Friday that Grizzlies grew Noah LaRose, who actually was a behind the bench coach for them last year,

had instituted this new system where it was a ton of pace, a ton of driving, very few interactions

between players.

Instead, it's cutting, it's giving guys space to operate, and it's going one-on-one, and it's

doing it most importantly with a ton of pace.
