The jazz are still a robust second and net rating plus 7.9 per 100 possessions, third and offensive rating, 11th and defensive rating using clean the glasses garbage time filters.

And the Raptor based projections are still extremely high on the jazz 54 wins ties them for first in the West and elo gives them a 93% chance of being the playoffs, which is a little bit lower.

Yes, so what we got here to start for the jazz. So we got a couple of questions on basically kind of like how the jazz should handle should handle this season.

And what somebody said should they pull a bucks 2021 to focus on the playoffs and matchups. And I actually talked about a little bit with Matt Moore on real GM radio and Mike issue with that in terms of like I think that the regular season is a laboratory, but part of the problem for the jazz is one more personnel.

It's like, so there's this idea of like can they do a switching system and I don't think the jazz can defend at a high level without Rudy go bare on the floor.

And maybe you experiment with it because why the hell not. But and if that's if you sacrifice a couple wins so be it.

But I actually think the more interesting question than can they defend without Rudy because you think about the dribble penetration.

And yes, that would be reduced with a switching system conceptually.

But it's hard to change dramatically change a personnel and supplemental rim protection is generally a big weakness of those groups for almost every team that has ever done it.

And the jazz don't really have that guy who can be the dream on green.

But to me, the more interesting question is giving Rudy go bare more opportunities and switch and seeing if he can do it.

And yes, you're going to run in the problems like you did against the clippers of him being out on the floor and then fruity go bears out on the floor.

Who's going to be protecting the basket. But I'm interested in how that could work and getting more reps on that because there will be teams that try it.

Yeah, you mentioned the idea of the regular season being a laboratory and they just don't have that much equipment in that laboratory right there.

And also I think that this is a team that because of their playoff limitations really needs to have home court, I would say maybe more than the bucks did a year ago, the bucks had relatively healthy teams in 2019 to 2020 and still lost.

So they home court maybe you know wasn't as important of them whereas you to I think just imagining them winning with home court to me is very difficult.
