or maybe it'll be over because you're listening to it probably tomorrow.

As it's released, I should say, man, I really am not good at intro. It's a good thing I don't have

like a boss who tells me the way I have to start the show. But I think we can just get right into

our 1560 Eastern Conference Mealbag with the Atlanta Hawks.

The Hawks are 12 and 27, a strong 5 and 4 since the last 15 and 60, including a win on Sunday

and an ugly, ugly game against the Miami Heat. But they want it. They have the 29th best net rating

at negative 10, 29th offense, 27th defense, 538, projects them to win 24 games, which would actually

put them 12th in the Eastern Conference, and they're not making playoffs.

Oh man, what's, I guess we'll get to the rest of the east. I mean, I think there's three teams

worse than them. It is pretty remarkable. Although I thought they'd be the second worst team at

basketball. I thought the Kings would be the worst. That was not correct. So let's start here.

We're going to try to be a little more strict and actually stick to the timer. This time,

I always forget to set it on some of these. We'll start here with Mike Savagdo. Since playing 30

minutes for the first time, Kevin Herder is averaging 12 points a game. This is from last week,

these stats. 39% from three on six attempts a game. How does this stretch impacted how you think

about his future long term? I like Herder. I think that he has, I mean, beyond the whole

crazy turnover stat that you had on his pick and rolls and stuff. I think some of those things

will iron themselves out, but he's more capable with the ball in his hands than I expected. And

his shooting is legit. I'm not sure if he's going to be like a high mid 40s shooter or anything

like that. But if he can be in the high 30s, maybe low 40s on a decent volume, that is encouraging.

I distinctly do not love him defensively so far. And that is a concern. But more of a concern
