And last night, the Lakers got their fourth straight win, but potentially a costly one, as Rui goes down with a knee strain. We're recording before we have any information on how he's doing, but Lakers have a second

night of a back-to-back would imagine he doesn't play, and possibly some others don't tonight against

the Clippers. But D, it was a game where Lakers came out hot again. It actually looked a bit like

the Dallas game in that they defended very well in the first quarter. A common phenomenon

lately got out to a 15-plus point lead. Luca was excellent in his first quarter. A common phenomenon lately got out to a 15 plus point lead. Luca was

excellent in his first stretch, then also kind of died off a bit offensively. After that,

similar to the Dallas game. We'll get into Luca's scoring struggles, at least, going a little

bit later. But Minnesota fights back. Anthony Edwards gets ejected. They go on a little push after that.

Terrence Shannon does a lot of damage off at the bench. But Lakers pull away in the fourth quarter

toward the end. And Dee, I would love to continue our conversation about how they actually did

guard ant once we get into the nitty gritty. But give me your big picture thoughts about last night's win.

So big picture, I'm sort of where I was even heading into the game and sort of building

off of the conversations we've had this week, right, which are the Lakers continuing to play

with the right amount of like focus and diligence and intensity defensively and

offensively still needing to find their rhythm and flow.
