Hey, everybody. We got a great one for a change. And let me tell you what's great about it.

As you know, I almost always have experts on. And two of my experts today are experts on being

very smart and very thoughtful teenagers in Texas.

Roger Gulhati and Anna Brooks both just graduated from Tom DeLay High School in Sugarland, Texas.

That's not the name of the high school, but they did just graduate from high school in Sugarland,

which is a suburb of Houston,

and which Tom DeLay represented for 20 years in Congress, where for a few years,

he was the Republican House Majority Leader and resigned after being indicted for criminal conspiracy

to violate election law, which is a little ironic because the reason Roger and Anna are with me is that

Roger emailed me, tell me that he wanted to vote by mail this November because of COVID-19.

He and Anna are very passionate about politics and public policy, and they like to vote by mail so they don't expose themselves to the coronavirus.

But the Texas governor, Greg Abbott and the Texas state legislature don't want Roger and Anna to vote by mail because they suspect that Roger and Anna are up to something.

They think there's a good chance that Roger and Anna are going to commit voter fraud

and steal the election for Joe Biden and down-ticket Democrats.

See, right now in Texas, the law is that you can vote absentee or vote by mail only if you're

over 65 or have some medical condition that might make you vulnerable to dying from COVID-19.

It turns out that Governor Abbott is like Donald Trump, something of a genius about keeping COVID-19 under control.

And when Abbott opened the state prematurely, he made sure to prohibit mayors and county

officials around Texas from requiring that their citizens wear masks out in public. Well, now it turns out that there's

been an enormous spike in COVID cases in the Lone Star State, and the ICUs in Houston are now

packed beyond capacity. So Governor Abbott has reversed himself and is closing the state

down and encouraging local officials around the state to require that their citizens wear masks
