Hello and welcome to 15 Days of Festive Fear Day number 10.

I have two spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from February 8th 2021

and story number 1 comes from Mona.

As a child and a teenager I would dream of things that would happen.

Most of the time they weren't anything interesting, but a very few times they were quite profound.

Sometimes they carried a message or a warning.

For example on the night my grandmother had a stroke I dreamt she was being carried away

in an old fashioned funeral wagon.

She survived, but that in itself was miraculous.

When she died years later I was ridden with guilt because the last time I saw her she told

me it would be the last time that I would see her and I being a teenager told her not

to say things like that and that I would see her the next time which never came.

Two months later I reunited with my father who lived elsewhere in the world and couldn't

attend the funeral.

When I was in his room I heard my name being called by my grandmother.

This happened once and only once and was clear as day.

It didn't scare me and it happened way too fast to realize that it didn't make sense.

When I went downstairs for dinner my dad looked shaken by something.

When I finally prided out of him he told me he heard grandma say his name earlier in

the day in a different part of the house.

His experience made me feel comfort and even forgiveness.

I think it was the same for my dad who felt guilty about not being able to go to the funeral.
