The task of balancing the goals of entertaining, challenging, and interacting my players is daunting as a brand new GM.

I'm currently running Star Trek Adventures, a 2D20 system from Modifius.

It is a new game with very little official resources compared to D&D systems.

Trying to write and balance a campaign mission and a persistent universe in that environment seems to be impossible with my lack of experience.

Thankfully, I stumbled upon one of the best GM podcasts I've ever heard.

The time, locations, classes, and technology may be different from D&D, but your show provides fantastic ideas every time I listen.

masterfully.
