Hello everyone and welcome back to part two of my Mormon stories interview with Thomas and

Cece Stokes. My name is John Delin. It is September 27th, 2021 and as I just mentioned, we are now in part two of an episode that I believe is entitled

Healing Through Faith Crisis with Music. We just finished a good three-ish hours

with Thomas and Cece Stokes.

They're a wonderful couple just talking about their upbringing in the church and Thomas's mission and

let's just say Cece's healthy but very unorthodox Mormon upbringing and

how they eventually ended up meeting well meeting at various stages in their lives but then dating

while Thomas was at BYU after he had served his mission in Chile and

how they had kind of an orthodox

Mormon courtship from the standpoint that Cece had not been introduced into the Mormon shame cycle

she was confident in her

unorthodox and or Jack Mormonism as

she kind of jokingly described it but she was willing to stoop to date an uptight Mormon return

missionary in Thomas and we also talked about how I do have and why Thomas was willing to date Cece even though she had

a past let's just say not the white and delight some path

that orthodox Mormons are raised as it relates to the law of chess you know the types of things I'm speaking a little bit jokingly

tongue in cheek you'd have to go back to watch part one to know what I'm talking about and you should go back to part one and watch

what I'm talking about before we jump in now to part two but without any further ado what the way we left off was that

CC and Thomas were dating while Thomas was at BYU they were starting to get serious they were trying to

still obey the honor code in the law of chastity so Thomas wouldn't get kicked out of BYU and out of the temple and out of the church and

that sort of thing but Thomas had had
