Monday edition of the Mike O'Mara show and something to address before we begin, and this is no secret,

as Mike announced it on Facebook, but he lost his mom over the weekend

and he's going to be out for a couple days.

He'll be back on Wednesday, and we, of course,

send our thoughts and prayers to the entire O'Mara family.

Mike, we spoke to him this morning.

He's doing okay considering and he is immensely appreciative for all the love and the support

that you guys have sent him via

social media he really really wanted us to convey that thank you guys so much

he's really doing okay and they've got such a great family that you can look at a life of so many years and spend it positively.

Because as my Uncle Billy once said, a life well lived.

And it's something that you really need to think that there are many positives in a situation like this.

He will be back on Wednesday. He's looking forward to being back on the show, but he's going to take a couple days to deal with the family business,

which is to be absolutely understood.
