There's two things I really want to explore at least in your story.

So like I'm wondering how do you know that you're lesbian?

Like how would you even be able to figure that out or explore it once you're locked, quote,

locked into a mixed orientation marriage, assuming that you're just straight.

I also am going to imagine that your faith journey has been interwoven into your journey

of sexual discovery.

So where should we take your story to kind of follow those two threads?

One with any other threads you want to cover?

Yeah, I think the first place to go would be the faith journey.

Because like I think I said before, it was just impossible for me to recognize my sexuality

in the church because it wasn't helpful.

It was not helpful to be gay as a faithful Mormon and especially as a faithful married

Mormon.

And so yeah, it was just I never would have understood my sexual dysfunction.

Or my sexuality if I would have stayed in the church.

And so that, yeah, that came after.

And so the first thing to talk about would definitely be my faith journey.

So after I got married and graduated from BYU, I felt a lot of pressure from the church

to get pregnant.
