Welcome back to the quarter of the day show. I'm your host Sean Crox and a Sean Crox and calm.

It's throwback Thursday and we're turning back that clock all the way to episode number

282 and our feature speaker Lisa Hamines. Today Lisa is going to highlight one of the fears

that a lot of us don't know that we have. And it is the fear of success. And I know it doesn't

really make a whole lot of sense because you're probably like, oh my god, I think I have

a fear of failure. We may have that too. But the fear of success is it's so common. And

I'll never forget when I realized that I had this fear when I was reading Dr. Serini

Palais book life on Laughton. There's a whole chapter on all these different fears of

success. And I was like, check, check, check. I got that one. I got that one. I got that

one. I got the other one. And there is a power to being aware of this fear. Because if

you have a fear of success, it means that in my opinion, deep down, you know you have

the ability to become successful. And so it's just something to keep in mind. If this

fear is something that you struggle with, you believe in yourself so much that you're

afraid of what you're capable of. Lisa Hamines, she's coming up.

And at the end of that convention, a very dear friend of Joaquim in mind, who was my

business coach at the time, Randy Gage, we were sitting around the hotel lobby. We were

talking about building businesses. And I was into speaking at that time and I was growing

my speaking business. And I was still working as a director with Mary Kay Cosmetics. And

at this time, I had a second child. So I had Ariana and Bo. And then he's, Randy sharing

me some ideas about how to build my business, my speaking business and my Mary Kay
