How's life? How's everything going in Pennsylvania?

Everything's good, you know, it's funny, I was just thinking, amidst the usual

stuff of the week, the usual protocol, work, family stuff, trying to do the Christmas shopping, especially thinking of our niece and our three nephews.

And it occurred to me something. It's harder. I think it's harder now to Christmas shop than when we were young

specifically when I was young right the Gen Xers it seemed like we were into things

longer for a longer period of time so for instance right I was into Star Wars from the late 70s through the mid 80s, so you had probably any gift giver, you know, aunts, uncles, besides mom and dad grandma grandpa whoever friend you know friends parents all that kind of stuff

for birthdays they had a good eight year period of knowing what a kid was into so it was

sort of effortless you go in the toy store it's anything

Star Wars it's a win it's anything GI Joe for a certain period of time anything

transformers but I feel like and this might be a little bit of a

divisive statement but I feel like kids are into things for less, you know, a smaller periods of time now. I never know what our nephews, for instance, are into, especially the hour oldest.

Declan, I don't even know, he's at a hard age anyway, that 14, 15 year old age area is kind of tough, especially if they're not specifically into like I was

in the skateboarding at that age.
