And even though I sometimes use the expression myself,

woke capitalism, I have to cringe every time when I sort of say it.

Because, you know, well, first of all, the book.

It's the title of the book.

So, you know, I mean, the title of the book is woke,

incorporated, and I have to say that the word woke itself

has had a bit of a journey.

I actually, I actually think that there is a certain,

at least intellectual coherence to examining

pre-existing power structures.

Critical theories all about examining the prevailing power

structures and revealing them for what they are.

I think there's a worthy endeavor there.

That's not inherently pejorative,

although it's taken on this inherently pejorative connotation

on the right.

It's not when it wasn't at least when I named the book,

but I stand by the title of the book

because I actually think that that has created

a new power structure, by the way, in our country,

that is now the unidentified power structure.
