Summary

Mujey Dumbuya and her family had come to the United States for pastures greener. After their home country of Sierra Leonne became embroiled in civil war, they thought that United States would be a place of safety. In 2018, however, Mujey vanished after leaving her home to catch a bus to school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Fear immediately encompassed her family, even more so because she had been scheduled to testify against a man that she had accused of sexually abusing her.
