And our film review this week.

Our film review is Elves. Elves was released in 2021. It has 5.5 out of 10 on IMDB and

32% on Rotten Tomatoes. It is actually a series. It has six episodes in total and each

episode is about half an hour long.

While spending Christmas on a remote island, a family discovers that the area is populated

with terrifying elves.

You know what, I'm going to be really honest. I didn't have high hopes for this before

I watched it. I had kind of glanced. I saw that like IMDB score, the Rotten Tomato

score and I thought, oh, this is going to be awful. Some of the reviews were very, very

aggressive about this series. But actually, it's not that bad.

But I think in order for this review to make more sense, I need to pad out the synopsis

a little bit. So you have a family, a mother, father, son and daughter that go to a remote

island for Christmas and on their way to their accommodation, they hit a creature. The

family think they've hit a pothole, but the daughter is convinced they've hit some sort

of animal. So she goes to rescue the animal and it is a baby elf.
