Welcome back to the Quart of the Day Show. I'm your host, Sean Crox and we got Robin

Sharma on the show wrapping up the week and today he's going to talk about three very

important principles that his father taught him when he was a child.

And it's the second one that I love the most, which is always be learning because if you

want to attain mastery at anything in life, you have to be open to learning.

You got to read books. You got to listen to books. You got to do seminars. You got to take

classes. If you want to live the life that you want to live, you have to be competent.

There's so many people who want to like dream big dreams and they want everything, but

they're not competent. So you got to learn every single day, little by little, a little

becomes a lot. And over time, you get into that top 5%, top 3%, top 1%, which opens

up doors for you and opens up wallets as well. And people will pay you for what you are

competent at. So always be learning, never stop. Robin Sharma, he's coming up.

A little bit about my background, how I got here before this phenomenal, good looking,

passionate, energetic crowd here in Las Vegas. Well, you like that, right? I grew up in

the East Coast of Canada. I know I have some Canadians here. In a small town of about

2,000 people called Portoxbury. And I sure didn't grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth.

As a matter of fact, I tend to identify with those who've endured adversity. I tend to

identify with those who've been knocked down by life. I tend to really identify with the

underdogs amongst us. But I had the gift of two amazing parents, a very loving and wise
