I read them as an adult because I was determining if society had been sleeping on the series.

I said yes, and now I'm seeing if society's been sleeping on all the other stuff that Rick Ryarden put into our lives.

I'm joined by someone who's making their debut on the newest Olympian, but I was very excited to learn that they are a Percy Jackson fan. You might know them as the co-host of the very good book-related podcast, Pod and Prejudice. It's Becca from Pod and Prejudice. Becca, how's it going? Oh, it's going so good. I'm so happy to be here. I am so delighted to have you here, and here will be the true test of my resolve of actually trying to talk about Percy Jackson on this Percy Jackson podcast. Will we talk about these two chapters of The Lost Hero? Or will we just talk about Pride and Prejudice for an hour and a half? Oh, well, that's going to be a really good good question because for those of you who listen to my podcast, you may have heard Mike guest star once or twice on it. And this is something we learned about Mike on our podcast, myself and my co-host Molly. Mike is secretly a huge Jane Austen nerd, specifically pride and prejudice related. Yeah, I won't even take the Jane Nelson thing because I've not read a page of anything else that she's written. So I don't want to get too much credit. But I have read Pride and Prejudice a couple of times and I will always defend it. It slaps so hard. And I've played the Pride and Prejudice marrying Mr. Darcy card game that you two finally have played after months of me yelling at you two to play it.
