Here in the Ops season I did a podcast called Stop Overreacting to Last Season's Results.

And on that podcast, I dug into some high level trends that we're seeing throughout the

league and showed how sensitive the fantasy football world can be to previous season results.

Running back sucked in 2015 for instance, and in 2016, we saw a wide receiver takeover.

Last year running backs were solid.

Today, we're seeing higher running back average draft positions than we've seen in

quite some time.

It's important to not just react to the previous season, but to look at league-wide trends

to give us a larger sample of how the league is moving.

I did that a little bit in episode 127, but not to the level that you're going to

hear today.

Justin Freeman is a newer writer over on numberfire and he's been doing some really awesome work.

He did a couple of pieces recently on the site that could really change the way that

you look at fantasy football here in 2018.
