And when it comes to Hollywood, there are quite a few, like the longstanding rumor that somebody hanged themselves on the set of 1939's Wizard of Oz, which has been debunked time and time again. The truth is, it was supposedly a large bird showing off its wingspan. But there have been quite a few Hollywood tragedies both on set and off, so I thought, hey, let's talk about a few of them.

And well, who better to discuss Hollywood horror than my friend and iconic actress Tina Meijerino? Hi, Tina. Hi. I'm so excited that you're here.

Well, I got to be, I'm sure a lot of you guys listened, I guess, on Tina's podcast that she does with her brother, Kevin called No Pressure Pod. And it's so good. Thank you. You killed it.

I was actually listening to your latest episode on my way here today, which is so funny. Okay, so you're talking about cry, cry of Genics, Craig.

Yeah, cry on X. What's cry of Genics?

Kevin was trying to delineate. I think cryonics is freezing people cryogenics is the study of people being frozen or saying being frozen.

Yeah, something like that. Okay, well, it's so funny because first of all, it's interesting you guys should all go listen to it because I learned a lot.

But second, on obituary, the obituary that will come out before this episode. So the one that came out on Thursday, Madison actually talked about her whole topic was about people that have like spontaneously been frozen or spontaneously been preserved.

Preserve spontaneous preservation. That's what she was talking about. So glad you're here.

Play that up. So before we jump in, when I was researching, I did find some interesting tidbits about some incidents on the Wizard of Oz set, which hopefully you'll find interesting as well.

First of all, Margaret Hamilton, who played the Wicked Witch of the West, was involved in a terrifying accident while filming. It was on December 23rd of 1938. She was filming a scene where the Wicked Witch exits from Munchkinland in a blaze of fire.

Yeah, remember, do you recall this?

Yes, because this is my favorite movie.

Do you know this story?

No.

Well, the flames went off prematurely when they were filming before she had descended below the stage, causing her to receive first degree burns on the right side of her face and second degree burns on her right hand.

She didn't return to set until almost two months later on February 10th that year. And when she did come back, she had to wear a green glove on her hand because it was not healed yet.

Is that wild?

That's so scary.
