You're listening to the decluttered mom podcast. A podcast built specifically for busy moms by a busy mom. I'm your host, Diana Renee. And in 2017, I had my second daughter and it felt like I was literally drowning in my home. Okay, not literally,

0:23.7

but I felt like I couldn't breathe with all of the stuff surrounding me. Over the next 10 months,

0:30.3

I got rid of approximately 70% of our household belongings and I have never looked back. I kind of feel like I hacked the mom

0:39.6

system, and I'm here to share all the tips, tricks, and encouragement. Let's listen to today's show.

Hello and welcome to another episode of the Decluttered Mom podcast. It feels like spring today, and I'm so

0:58.3

excited because it's, I mean, it's not spring yet. It should be, but it's not. March is typically

1:05.4

like the snowiest month of the year in Colorado, which now I'm recording this the first week of April. So,

1:13.3

hopefully we're out of the woods a little bit, but we, yesterday, it was 70 and sunny. It was

1:18.8

really windy, but so that kind of put a damper on things. But today, again, it's supposed to be

1:23.5

like 68 and sunny. Tomorrow we are supposed to have a snowstorm and then Wednesday it's supposed to be

1:32.5

nice and warm and sunny.

1:34.7

So I'm hoping that we're like we're starting to have more like nice days in a row.

1:40.5

And so I'm like, oh, this would be so nice.

1:43.3

And I will remind myself of this when it's the

1:46.7

dead heat of summer and it's like 100 degrees and I want to crawl into an ice bath. But for now,

1:54.5

like I just, I love spring. I love spring and I love fall. And I think it's because I just love

2:00.3

the changing of seasons.

2:03.2

It feels very like like a time of renewal to me. It feels like kind of like a fresh start, kind of a

2:10.6

reset, just like New Year. And spring just, it's just, it's so nice. You guys know know that a lot of people really like to do spring

2:19.4

cleaning and really like totally clear out their house and make it feel fresh and uh that it's that

2:27.1

clean slate right and so i'm just i'm excited that it's starting to get that way i feel like by

2:33.8

the end of winter,
